Flip the Script: Parent Perspectives on education during the COVID-19 pandemic and beyond flyer with a tan and black design featuring an image of a microphone.

Flip the Script brings in voices that are often unheard or ignored at our institution but whose perspectives are critical to guide our work. While we often engage with academics quoting and generalizing these voices, we rarely have opportunities to engage directly with the people themselves. During the Flip the Script - Parent Panel we will convene parents or caregivers of school-aged children of underrepresented or historically marginalized racial, ethnic, geographic, and socioeconomic backgrounds. Listen, learn, and be inspired as parents share their experiences with school during COVID-19 and suggestions or advice for educational leaders in moving forward from this experience. After the Q&A, we will split into breakout rooms to discuss ideas and action steps for our own schools or workplaces as we return to in-person learning.
